Our focus will be on how the Biblical Creation Narrative gives us a proper understanding of the nature and purpose of the created order. We will begin by looking at God as the Creator who is distinct from Creation, yet the one who upholds Creation and for whom Creation was made. Our study will continue in an examination of God’s creation of a material world, how God made man, what it meant that he created them male and female, God’s design for marriage, the entrance of sin into this world through Adam, and the hope of mankind in the seed of the woman. My intent and desire in this series is to ground us in the Biblical teaching concerning these foundational realities that do not bend or break, but have often been denied and distorted by man-made philosophies and human forgeries of the origin of man.
